Detailed survey of the life and work of Prof.-Dr. Arthur Van Gehuchten of Louvain (1861-1914), neuroanatomist, clinical neurologist, photographer and pioneer of medical cinematography. Contains many remarkable excerpts from Van Gehuchten's own clinical-neurological films made between c. 1900 and 1914, including cases of Sydenham's chorea, Parkinson's disease, gait disorders, paralyses, tremors and hysteria in both women and men.
