Original manuscript signed by Thomas Bigg, 18 December, 1857: "Recipe for making Bigg's Improved Sheep-dipping Composition; his Specific or Lotion; and Ointment for the Scab, in Sheep" [1 parchment sheet]. With envelope: "Bigg's Original Formulae / Received from Mr [illegible] / Dec. 6. 1915".

Part 2/2:
Reports (typescript) from Laboratory Department, William Coopper and Nephews (1916-1919), with some items of correspondence between E E Thompson (Thomas Bigg Ltd) and William Cooper & Nephews. Provides details of various Thomas Bigg recipes:
Bigg's Original Paste Dip;
Bigg's Powder Dip;
Bigg's "Glenovis" Powder Dip;
Bigg's Disinfectant;
Bigg's "Bloomovis" Paste Dip;

Ms memorandum (17 July, 1920) providing detailed costing for 20 litre drums of Concentrated Cattle Dip. With typed memorandum (14 June, 1920) from The Cooper Technical Bureau to the General Manager's Department: "The formula was sent forward to you on Friday and kindly let me know whether you have received this".

Biggs Formulae. Typed copies [c1920], with envelope marked "Bigg's Formulae copied from those held by Mr Thompson".

Correspondence (1920-1921) between William Cooper & Nephews Ltd (and The Cooper Technical Bureau) and Thomas Bigg Ltd, providing various recipes and formulae for products.
