Description

A complete copy of the printed work of Severinus Eugalenus [a Dutch physician who flourished in the second half of the sixteenth century], De Scorbuto Morbo Liber, edited by Joseph Stubendorf. At the foot of the title-page is the note: "Excriptus ex exemplo lipsiæ impresso anno 1603 impensis Bartholmœi Voight. Ad usum andreæ francisci Josephi Salmon, liberalium artium magistri, chirurgique jurati anno 1764." The name of the copyist is not stated. The manuscript is a complete and faithful copy of the printed text, neatly and closely written on both sides of the page in a handwriting that may be French.
