Description

Light microscope image of a cyclops mutant zebrafish embryo which has been stained with an antibody to Pax6 protein to show early brain and eye development. In these mutants, there is fusion of the retinae in the midline as indicated by the continuity of the brown stain. Credit: R. MacDonald & S. Wilson
