Description

Leaflet asking for donations for the Hospital Saturday Fund, a London-wide scheme to raise money for "hospitals, dispensaries, and convalescent homes", founded in 1873 and incorporated in 1890. It was based at 41 Fleet Street and S. Morley, M.P. was the president. The date September 2nd 1882 appears in the illustration of Queen Victoria visiting a little girl, lying in a hospital bed with a nurse at her side.
