    women who have been admitted have been reconciled to their friends, or placed in honed: employments or reputable fervices. Of this number, fome undoubtedly have relapfed into their former errors ; but many, who left the Houfe at their own requeft, have fmce behaved well j and feveral of thofe difcharged for improper behaviour have, to the certain knowlege of the Com- mittee, never returned to evil courfes. A very confiderable number are lince married, and are, at this moment, refbedtable mem- bers of fociety ; and, could their names and fituations be difclofed, (which for the mod: obvious reafons, would be highly improper) the very great utility of this Charity would appear in the thronged: light. A Probationary Ward has been inflituted for the young women on their firth admif- fion i a feparation of thofe of different dc- fcriptions and qualifications has been eiha- blifhed ; and Apartments have been fitted up in the Loftge for the refidence of the Chaplain,
