The second volume of the Consilia (160 l.) was apparently also published separately by the same press in the same year under title: Secundus tomus Consiliorum de gravissimis morbis. According to the dedicatory epistle for the two works, the first volume of the Consilia had been published previously in Basel; but no copy has been found recorded

It was eventually purchased by the Wellcome Trust in 1984, with assistance from the National Heritage Memorial Fund and other charities.
