Letters from Francis Galton to Samuel Tertius Galton, Violetta Galton and Adele Galton.

The letters from January to August 1839 describe Galton's time at the General Hospital, Birmingham, his studies, health, future plans, and a trip to Scotland.

The letters from October to December 1839 describe his time whilst staying in London with Richard Partridge (Professor of Anatomy), his medical studies at King's College, his plans to study at Cambridge, his accounts, and his social life.
