10 November, 1924. Memorandum from P R Clarke (Cooper, Finance Manager) headed "Cooper and McDougall Businesses," beginning: "Rough Scheme in relation to the uniting of the businesses of the three Companies and the adjustment of their capital and providing for the formation of local independent Companies if so decided" [12 sheets].

22 November, 1924. Solicitor's advice: "re Cooper & McDougall Businesses. Mr Chamberlayne's Notes and Suggestions for Consideration of Sir Richard Cooper and Mr McDougall" [8 sheets, with annotations in pencil].

22 November, 1924. Solicitor's advice: "Sir Richard Cooper's Estates. Mr Chamberlayne's Notes and Suggestions for consideration by Sir Richard Cooper" [5 sheets].

2 December, 1924. Letter from James W Milne (Cooper Brothers & Co, Liverpool) to Sir Richard Cooper, enclosing a "Statement" (for signature by Sir Richard Cooper and I McDougall) concerning the basis of valuation of the amalgamating companies.
