An episode recounted in 'The fatal effects of gaming', The American bee, Leominster (Mass.), 1797, pp. 93-100, possibly reprinted from an earlier volume. Two brothers called Hargrave lost their money through gambling and resorted to highway robbery. In the course of a robbery they accidentally shot and killed their own father in a post-chaise. Thereupon one brother poisoned himself and the other shot himself
