Description

Advertises the throat medicine for which Dr Emanuel Wybert brought the recipe from America in 1846 and in an influenza epidemic gave to a friend at the Goldene Apothek Basel (GABa), who named the remedy Wybertli. From 1917 it was manufactured in the form of Gaba/Wybert lozenges by GABA AG

The cock holds a tin of tablets lettered "Goldene Apotheke in Basel, Schweiz"
