About this work

Description

Pasta bow ties were placed on X-ray film and exposed to full plate X-ray film. Pasta is a complex carbohydrate which provides a slow, sustained release of energy for the body. Carbohydrates form a key part of our diet and are broken down into sugar (glucose) during digestion. Eating too many carbohydrates will result in excess calorie intake and subsequent weight gain. Conversely, too few carbohydrates can lead to malnutrition.
