Succursales: Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nantes, Lille, Rouen & Londres Various parts of the amphitheatre bear advertising inscriptions. On the frieze and wall on the lecturer's right: "Produits anésthésiques Chloroforme Ether Bromure d'ethyle." Right, behind the display board, "Exposition Universelle de Paris 1889 Grand prix". Left, on end wall of tiers in the amphitheatre, depictions of product-containers Glycérophosphate de Chaux (a tonic for the nervous system), Neufaline (a cleaning fluid), and Kola Granulé (kola acuminata, used as a pickmeup) with inscription below "La Pharmacie Centrale de France ne vend pas au public, ses produits se trouvent dans toutes les pharmacies". Lower right, forming back wall of tiers, "Sulfate de Quinine", "Chlorhydrate de Quinine", and Bromhydrate de Quinine", with depictions of products: tea, a cordial, and "chocolat de santé". The students hold papers inscribed with the names of the pharmaceutical products shown
