Anatomia amais correcta, extraida dos melhores authores anathomicos, deduzida a maneira de dialogo, e ditada aos Estudentes desta Sciencia no Real Hospital de S. Jozé ... Tomo 1° da Ostheologia. Title within pen-drawn ornamental panel; at the end a pen-drawn tail-piece. This MS. contains notes of Constancio's lectures, by an unnamed student, whose name is perhaps J. Pinho, which is found on the verso of the last leaf. Produced in Lisbon.

Biographical note

Manoel Constancio was the father of Franciso Solano Constancio (1777-1846), the author of MS.1782. He was appointed professor of anatomy and surgery at the Hospital de Todos os Santos in Lisbon in 1764, a post which he held for over forty years. He was responsible for many reforms in Portuguese medical and surgical education.
