Description

Patent for a steam bath to which chlorine, "sulphur, camphor, herbs, &c." may be added to increase "the efficacity of the vapour". This helps to cure rheumatism, glandular and other obstructions, liver complaints, enlargement of the spleen, "leprous, scorbutic,and various cutaneous disorders".
