Lepromatous leprosy: histoid leprosy

Lepromatous leprosy (LL): histoid leprosy This is a low power view of a histoid leprosy nodule in the skin. There is a discrete inflammatory mass in the dermis. H&E stain. Histoid leprosy occurs mainly in LL in relapse.
