Description

Reproduction of photogravure of Sir William Fergusson (1808-1877), Scottish surgeon, by the Swan Electric Engraving Company, after Rudolph Lehmann. It was acquired at auction in December 1931 by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum and Library as part of a bigger lot (PD 186-2-1), and retrospectively accessioned after 1936.
