Description

Borderline tuberculoid (BT) leprosy: type 1 leprosy reaction This picture shows an annular lesion on the cheek of a young boy with leprosy. There is healing in the centre of the lesion, surrounded by a raised, scaly border. The erythematous appearance of the lesion may be due to a type 1 reaction.
