About this work

Description

This image was painted using acrylic on canvas in the attempt to see if it would induce a migraine. It is a seection of the barn image (B0007382) painted in bright vibrant colours, prefered by the artist. however, the effect was not as dramatic as expected. The large horizontal areas allow the eye to rest and lessen the impact of the strong, confused, sparkling areas of the surface. Producing this image the artist did suffer a mnor migraine, likened to a 'buzz', the sort of effect you would get from too much caffeine. This image produced a euphoria which preceeds the migraine.
