    and have further contracted from the 1st October last until the 31st March next, for the same, at the rate of 4s. 3d. per stone of 8 lbs. Your Committee contracted from the 1st April until the 30th September last, for the best wheaten bread at 9d. for a4 lb. loaf; for flour at 13s. per bushel; and for oatmeal at 2s. 4d. per peck; and have further contracted from the 1st October last to the 31st March next, for the best wheaten bread at 9|d. for a 4 lb. loaf; for flour at 14s. per bushel; and for oatmeal at 2 s. 9d. per peck. As regards the Patients admitted to the benefits of this Charity, your Committee report that there have been received into the Hospital since the 31st December, 1854, and up to the 31st December, 1855 inclusive, 177 patients deemed curable. During the same period, there have been discharged cured 102; uncured 48 ; as unfit 9 ; at the request of their friends 3; and there have died 11. Since the 30th July, 1758, the day on which the Hospital was first opened for the reception of pa¬ tients, and up to the 31st December 1855 inclusive, there have been admitted into the Hospital 19,018 patients, deemed Curable OK THEIR admissiok ; of whom there have been discharged.
