About this work

Description

This is a recapitulation of the four-part series which takes the viewer on a graphic journey through the human body, hosted by anatomist Gunther von Hagens and pathologist Professor John Lee. It is filmed at the Institute for Plastination in Germany and contains highly graphic dissection scenes presented in a pseudo-theatrical format in front of an audience made up of potential future body donors and anatomy students. The first part focuses on the muscles and skin, the second part on the heart and circulatory system, the third part on the digestive system and the fourth part on the reproductive systems of both sexes.
