About this work

Description

This material, transferred with the Institute records, has been kept since it is connected with the history of the Institute. The ms volume (Y.1) is particularly valuable as being possibly the only surviving copy of Florence Lees's reports. Although the published report of the sub-committee to the National Association for Providing Trained Nurses for the Sick Poor quotes from the report on district nursing in London, this ms gives more detail, principally about the Ranyard Nurses.
