    6. In his occasional absence from the Asylum he shall conform to the directions he may receive from the Medical Superintendent as to its duration, and the period of his return. 7. He shall keep a Journal in which he shall enter daily the name of every Patient under medical or surgical treatment, with the nature of their maladies ; the name of every Patient who may have been mechanically restrained or secluded, with the reasons thereof, and the duration of such restraint or seclusion in each case; the name of every Patient who may have met with accident or injury, with the particulars of the occurrence; the name of every Attend¬ ant, Nurse or Servant, who may have been guilty of misconduct, together with the nature of their offence; and also all other facts w7hich he may desire to bring under the notice of the Medical Superintendent or the Committee; and such Journal shall at all times be accessible to the Medical Superintendent, and shall be laid before the Committee of Visitors at each visitation. SECOND ASSISTANT MEDICAL OFFICER. 1. Fie shall be duly qualified to practice as a Surgeon and Apothecary, and be registered; he
