Letter dated 13 December 1889 concerns a Resolution requesting Galton to complete his term as president of the Anthropological Institute and that he has conferred great benefits to the science of anthropology through his course of lectures.

Letter dated 10 January 1902 regrets that they cannot print his Huxley lecture in the Journal.
