Lettering

Forma et vero ritratto del pomo over cimiero del stendardo principale del Bassa Generale dell'armata turchesca, il qual era tutto d'argento dorato et da tutte due le parti erano intagliate lettere turchesche, il qual cimiero fu presentato all ser.a signoria di Venetia per m(es.) Paulo et m(es) Bernardino Lancia fratelli orefici, alla insegna della Madonna in Rialto; la sua grandezza era tre volte magior di qiuesto disegno. Lettering continues: Interpretatione dell lettere turchesche, che sono nel soprascrritto pomo, et prima dalla parte che si vede "Iddio non a altro Dio: Maumetho nuncio de Dio". Da l'altra parte "Alli fideli divino auspitio et ornamento, nelle degne imprese Dio sonorisce Maumetho" The Turkish letters are in reverse
