Description
Letters from L S Penrose to his wife, Margaret, sent during a trip to Poland in March 1969 and whilst attending a conference in Czechoslovakia in June 1969. Following Lionel Penrose's death in 1972 Margaret married Maxwell Newman, and took his surname.
