    The highest death-rates occurred in the Central, St. George’s, and Ancoats Districts of the Manchester Township, and the next highest in the District of Chorlton-upon-Medlock. As already stated, the figure for infantile mortality is far the lowest yet recorded, the greatest reduction being at 3-5 months. There is, however, a marked reduction at 0-2 and 6-11 months.
