Religion is personified by a nun holding the Bible and a cross, liberty by a woman holding the Jacobin hat, and virtue by a nude woman holding the sun and a palm, while history holds the trumpet of fame and a book. The altar is dedicated "Honori et immortalitati" (to honour and immortality)
