[Consulta medica.]. 224 numbered receipts for miscellaneous symptoms, of which the first 104 and part of no. 105 are in the same hand, probably that of Brother Joseph Rosuela of the Convent of San Diego, Mexico, whose name appears on the title-page. Much of the text up to no. 105 appears to have been taken from an unidentified MS or printed work by J.B. Procopio Couto associated with J.M. Procopio Couto; these arc probably related to the well-known literary figure and medical writer Michel Procope-Couteau [orherrvise Michel Cotelli] (1684- 1753). A few receipts include indigenous materia medica.
