Description

A bundle of letters, comprising:

1. 1 March, 1883. Copy letter to Messrs Kempthorne Prosser & Co, instructing them on a course of action if Burroughs Wellcome & Co goods are slow to sell. [2 sheets]

2. Note, without date: "Re retail prices on goods for colonies". [1 sheet]

3. 12 March, 1883. Original letter to Henry Wellcome about the state of trade in Hobart. Also discusses the distribution of Fellows products in India. [2 sheets folded]

4. Note on an order of goods for Messrs Sainsbury Ellisdon & Co to be sold through Messrs Baiss Bros. [1 sheet]

5. "On the train from Hobart to Launceston Mch 13th 83". Suggests a Latin name for Beef and Iron Wine, to encourage doctors to prescribe. [1 sheet]

6. "Re absorbent cotton". [1 sheet].
