    The hearings of Anatomy on Surgery and Medicine will be specially emphasised. Text-Books:—Q.uain’s Anatomy; Professor Turner’s Intro- duction to Human Anatomy. For practical work, Professor Cleland’s Guide to Dissection; and Ellis’, Heath’s, or Cunning- ham’s Dissector’s Guide. Summer Session. During the summer session a series of demonstrations on special subjects will be conducted. PPACTICAL ANATOMY. The Dissecting Room will be open from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m.— on Saturdays 9 a.m. till 12 noon—under the personal superin- tendence of Dr. Bryce. CHEMISTRY. Lecturer—G. G. Henderson, D.Sc., M.A., F.l.C. The course of instruction in Chemistry consists of lectures, and practical work in the chemical laboratory. The lectures will be given daily except Saturdays, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., and the laboratory will be open on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. During Session 1890-91 lectures will be given on the general principles of chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and the elements of organic chemistry. The first fifty lectures will deal with general principles and with the chief non-metallic and metallic elements, and their more important compounds. The second fifty lectures will be devoted partly to chemical theory and inorganic chemistry and partly to a description of some important groups of organic compounds.
