Description

Image of a demonstration microscope with lever adjustment for long and short sight made for Professor Sappey of Histologie, Faculte De Paris between 1863-1870 by Nachet and Son in France. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The microscope is now held by the Science Museum (object number: A60978).
