Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves advertising pharmaceutical businesses. They are arranged alphabetically by chemist / druggist / pharmacist / apothecary as far as can be determined. Veterinary medicines, patent medicines, leeches, Dr. Tissot's Nervous & Restorative Cordial, Stirlingree's Cubebs with sarsaparilla, trusses, perfumery, chemicals, dyes, cigars, candles, wines, spirits, groceries, spices, fish sauce, soda water, tea, coffee, chocolate, sago, vinegars, oil, paints, brushes, printing ink, french polishing, seeds, rat poison and books were also sold and making up of prescriptions, family and ship medicine chests, printing, cupping, bleding, tooth extraction and cleaning were also offered on the premises in some cases. They are from the 17th, 18th and early 19th centuries and are mostly a mixture of business cards and stationery. They include: W.
