About this work

Description

The film has aerial views over Nigerian landscapes - over a settled area with very few trees and hills. There is also a river. The next sequence is of a very swollen foot with blood seeping from several puncture marks. There is a female patient in the hospital, a woman lying in a bed bleeding (the footage is very indistinct). There is some surgery (but again very hard to see). A piece of paper with a number "1" on appears; a patient who is bathed in sweat lies on a bed. He is holding a mug of water. The unseen doctor opens his mouth and inspects his gums. Another piece of paper with"2" appears. There is an open sore on a leg. Very dark footage follows of a child. A smaller child sits on a hospital bed with a swollen leg, followed by tweezers being used to remove something from the surface. Finally there are further aerial shots.
