Description
This DVD tells the story of the two pioneering surgeons, Sir Archibald McIndoe and Canadian Dr. Ross Tilley, whose revolutionary and holistic approach to reconstructive surgery changed the lives and futures of airmen horribly burned in WWII, who named themselves The Guinea Pig Club. It includes the testimony of many of the original Guinea Pig Club members and some of the medical staff who helped them, much of which is illustrated with archival footage.
