This programme investigates the use of anti-psychotic medications for the treatment of incurable diseases of the brain such as Alzheimers. We hear from Cheryl Byrne whose father was prescribed huge cocktails of anti-psychotic medications which she is convinced have accelerated his condition. Researchers are now questioning the use of these medicines as they seem to have many damaging effects and no real benefits.
