Still life.

Four male inmates from the Drug Rehabilitation Unit at HMP Wayland wanted to make a video which would raise awareness on drugs. Through four very personal stories we are taken into the world of pain, fun, loss, violence, boredom, hope, anger and addiction. This video comes with a disclaimer that it includes simulated drug use - it also talks about and shows (via CCTV footage) violence to and by young people. With true and sometimes graphic life stories and authentic dialogue, we understand the inmates' attraction to drugs and where addiction leads. An imaginative and hard-hitting programme by Martin Yew of MY Films, 2005. Suitable for people from aged 14 and for training purposes.
