About this work
Manuscript document (2 pages) entitled 'Rules by which a class may learn Euclid's Elements, by their own instrumentality' with separate covering letter addressed to Sir C Hawkins, Bart. of Trevithen, Truro, undated, c.1805, and typescript description attributing (probably mistakenly) the manuscript and letter to Thomas Young 1773-1829.
Purchased from Ed Hall, book seller of Gravesend, 1965.
No biographical details found. (These letters were found filed with MS.8007/83, but are probably NOT by the physician and physicist Thomas Young , 1773-1829)
