About this work

Description

Advertising leaflet printed in blue on pale green paper. The device "is worn over the stomach without the slightest inconvience." Dr. Scott's electric hairbrush is also advertised (as curing headache). A smiling man is pictured on a ship smoking while another is leaning over the side of the ship, his hand on his brow, clearly feeling very unwell.
