This is part of the Topics in International Health series developed by the Wellcome Trust for use as an interactive educational resource in tropical and international health. The series is designed for use by medical and life science students, researchers, and healthcare professionals. The Sexually Transmitted Diseases CD-ROM provides an introduction to the important aspects of the major sexually transmitted infections (excluding HIV and AIDS, which is covered by a separate CD-ROM in the same series). Focus is particularly on the aspects of STDsin developing countries, although it is suitable for training STD clinicians, dermatologists and healthcare workers worldwide, and contains an electronic glossary of medical and scientific terms with an easy-to-use interface. The CD-ROM consists of 17 interactive tutorials with approximately 300 images.
