    THE Forty-seventh Annual Report OF THE COMMITTEE OE VISITORS OF THE COUNTY AND CITY OE WORCESTER LUNATIC ASYLUM. Presented to the County Council of the County of Worcester and to the Town Council of the City of Worcester, pursuant to the 190th Section of the Lunacy Act, 1890. 1. —The Committee of Visitors present to the Councils of the County and City their Report for the year ending the 31st December, 1899. 2. —No changes in the Medical Staff have occurred during the past year, and we are glad to be able to report that the Medical Superintendent, Mr. G. M. P. Braine-Hartnell and the several Gentlemen who assist him in the discharge of his duties continue to do so to our satisfaction. 3. —The only change in the House Staff calling for observa¬ tion is the appointment of the Rev. Father Feeny in the place of the Rev. Father Dolan as Roman Catholic Chaplain. Both the Rev. S. Morgans (the Protestant Chaplain) and Father Feeny discharge their duties zealously and efficiently, and we feel sure their efforts to ameliorate the condition of the unfortunate persons to whom they minister are appreciated by those patients who are in a mental condition to do so as they are also by the Attendants and others who have the benefit of their respective services. Copies of the reports of both Mr. Morgans and Father Feeny are appended. The conduct of the Oihcers and Attendants has on the whole been satisfactory.
