The instructor augments this silent film by shading in with chalk relevant organs (kidneys and bladder) on a diagram of a torso on a blackboard. All required anaesthestic equipment is laid out and prepared. Adult patients and their physical 'types' are shown. Blood pressure is taken prior to anaesthesia. A large clock is sited conveniently by the patient in plain sight. Several different techniques are demonstrated.
