About this work
Description
Leaflet or magazine insert advertising bars of toilet soap with "a very small quantity of arsenic" to nourish the skin, whiten the hands and improve the complexion. It was "guaranteed absolutely harmless". Printed in black on pink paper. More general text in black on the reverse. The soap was available from S. Harvey, Denman Street, London Bridge.
