![COLORADO AND ASTHMATICS. A few gentlemen of Denver, Colorado, truly grateful for restoration to health, from that distressing disease, Asthma, conceived the idea of ascer- taining how many such could he found in Colorado, with a view of bring. ing the result of such inquiries to the knowledge of persons still Buffering from that disease. A meeting of Asthmatics was therefore convened at Denver in October, 1873, and a committee was appointed, consisting of F. .1. T!. Crane, Wm. ]'.. Berger and K. W. Woodbury, to collect historic- of such as could be found, and to report at a subsequent meeting. That meeting was held on the 18th 1 December, 1ST.'!, and was organized by calling to the Chair Dr. W. it. Newman, formerly of Kentucky, and R. W. Woodbury, formerly of New Hampshire, was elected Secretary. The Chairman of the Committee, F. J. B. Crane, then presented to the meeting something over one hundred reports which here follow: J. B. AVERY, Denver; last place of residence Baraboo, Wisconsin ; arrived here middle of August, 1873 J fifteen years very severe; am already much relieved here; am enabled to sleep nights, which 1 have rarely done in Fifteen years. T- ALLING, v:'.;!'.» Twenty-third street, Denver ; Anoka, Minnesota j had the asthma six years, so as to unlit me for business; went to California in the Fall of 1870; found some relief, but not satisfactory; on my return, in March, 1871, came to Denver, and in one week was enabled to walk to Golden and back the second day ; soon returned to Minnesota, and soon had the asthma as before; made arrangements to come back to live, and arrived here the 21st November, and found immediate and entire relief.
