    I have omitted several of the cases contained in the original, par- ticularly amongst those relating to the inoculation of the pus of bu- boes, as many were precisely similar in all the details, and would only have proved tedious to the reader. I feel myself however bound to state it, as M. Ricord might otherwise be accused of drawing his conclusions, from too scanty a number of observations.
