Scarlet Fever.- Twenty-eight cases were notified during the year - 14 in the District of the County, 13 in Wick Burgh and 1 in Thurso Burgh. Of these 15 were school children, 4 were under school age and 9 over school a„ge. The ca-ses were of a mild na-ture and were widely scattered. Diphtheria. - One case wa,s admitted to the Hospital for observation but the diagnosis was not confirmed. Poliomyelitis Two ca-ses were notified during the year - a. male age 28 years and a female age 18 years. The former ha.s made a complete recovery but the latter is still under the care of the Orthopaedic Surgeon. VACCINATION AND IMMUNISATION.-/
