Improvements in the Manufacture of Chemical and Medicinal Tablets, Pearls, and Effervescing* or other Lozenges. Cornelius Willson, Chemist and Dentist of Number 452 Victoria Street, Grimsby, do hereby declare the nature of this invention to he as follows :— It consists in combining and mixing with the chemicals, salts, alkaloids substances, or medicinal compounds or combinations of them, before forming them into tablets, 5 pearls and lozenges by compression or otherwise, a suitable proportion of the substance called saccharine, or coal tar saccharine, known also as Ortho Sulphamine Benzoic Acid and by other names and by Fahlberg’s or whatsoever process prepared or produced or any of its salts compounds or combinations, for the purpose of covering the flavours of these various chemicals, salts alkaloids or substances or their compounds |0 or combinations and rendering them more palatable.
