Description

Image of two spy glasses probably made in the eighteenth century. The one on the left has a shagreen body and plated mounts. The right has a vellum body decorated with gold and horn mounts. The Nachet Collection was a large set of microscopes collected by Albert Nachet and acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum (accession number 67382 and 67388).
