Copy 2. Incomplete: lacks title page, some prelim. leaves, portrait, final leaf of index, and several pages within the text (pp. 737-740, 769-778, 785-788, 795-796, 875-884). Penultimate leaf of index torn at head with loss. Stamps of Manchester Medical Society, also their presentation booklabel dated 1861.
Copy 3. Imperfect: lacks title page, preliminary leaves with sig. ã3-4, and sig. LLi (supplied in Ms.) and LLvi. Autograph on flyleaf: 'Joseph Dickinson Trin[ity] Coll[ege] Dub[lin] 1836'; also autograph of John Wallace M.D. 1879.
