Refers to unsold Burroughs Wellcome & Co goods left with overseas wholesalers: "You will observe that I have in my arrangements with the wholesale houses who have bought the largest bills agreed that if any of these lots [of] our goods remained on their hands at the end of the year that we should receive them back from them on the spot at invoice prices - paying either cash or goods as they opine. It seems to me to be no more than right that we should do this...."
